After ringing in 2016 a year ago with an adults-only shindig, we decided this year that we were…1.) too tired to throw a massive party and 2.) really wanted to spend it with our kiddos who are growing up way faster than anyone told us they would. We knew this could very easily be the last New Years Eve we’d convince our teen to spend it with his loving, doting parentals.
So in hopes of keeping the kids occupied for, yikes, six hours while we waited for the ball to drop, we decided on a family, Olympics-themed party. And what do you know, it worked! The kids AND adults played hard competing in crazy, embarrassing, stunts. It was so fun that one child asked if we could do it again in six months! A bi-annual New Year’s Eve celebration!
So here are a few photos with links to the games. Enjoy and Happy New Year 2017!!!
